Lansdown Primary School Nativity

Miss Lillian has posted photos of this years Lansdown School Nativity to the school social media website. The children were all so excited to perform the Nativity after last years restrictions meant the play had to cancelled. 

The competition to design the programme for this years Nativity play was won by Charlotte.

Joseph and Mary

The Angel of the lord tells Mary that she is to expect a very special baby.

The Angel tells the shepherds of the good news

The good news travells fast and the three wise men are told to follow the brightest star in the sky

Mary and Joseph decide to travel to Bethlehem with little Donkey

Mary feels the birth of the baby is near so they settle in a stable for the night

Mary gives birth to a baby boy and calls him Jesus

The three wise men take gifts of Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh to the baby Jesus

The shepheard greets Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus

The Nativity ends with the beautiful christmas carol, Away in a Manger
